
In celebration of Epilepsy Week 2009, which ran from the 15th to the 21st of June, Epilepsy South Africa hosted another successful Wine Auction on Thursday, 25 June 2009.
Tomcat Advertising Agency (Pty) Ltd attended this Wine Auction to show their support for Epilepsy South Africa and their cause.
Epilepsy South Africa clothed their third Wine Auction in French attire, making it a memorable event that celebrated the link between South Africa's proud wine history and its French origin. Soli Philander was the very capable master of ceremonies, amusing the crowd with his confident antics.

Among the many guests attending this notable event, was the South African Cricket fielding extraordinaire, Jonty Rhodes. This fine sportsman was diagnosed with epilepsy at age six and has since shown many skeptics how epilepsy can be controlled to a point of being overcome.

As this was a Wine Auction, a fine collection of national wines from reputable farms were on display for auction. Farms that contributed to the cause, included: Newton Johnson Vineyards, Axe Hill, Bouchard Finlayson, Springfield Estate, Hazendal, Van Loveren, Klein Constantia, Bellingham, Beyerskloof, Gary Player, Grangehurst, Migliarina, Deetlefs, Nwanedi, Raka, Avondale, Slaley, Zandfliet, Blankbottle, Wolvendrift, Blaauyklippen, Marklew, Rustenberg, Bellevue Estate, Boland Cellars, Bon Courage, Bosman Family Vineyard, Groot Constantia and Laibach.
Epilepsy South Africa's guests were enthralled by the mastery of the cellars, and concluded the third installment of Epilepsy South Africa's reputable Wine Auction.
